The Scarsdale Boulevard bridge is planned to reopen on or about February 1, 2022, weather permitting. This follows approximately four months of construction on the site as part of Bond Project C-03, the Mud Gully Channel Conveyance Improvements project.
Following this reopening, construction on Segment 3 will continue, resulting in the upcoming closure of the Beamer Road bridge. The Flood Control District will distribute additional information on the timing of the Beamer Road bridge closure as it is solidified. In addition, project teams are coordinating with local stakeholders, including Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital and San Jacinto College South, on the upcoming closures and traffic pattern changes to ensure no adverse impacts.
The Flood Control District appreciates your patience and understanding with these construction inconveniences for this important flood risk reduction project in your area. For more information on the project and the traffic control plan, visit hcfcd.org/Mud-Gully.
