Project Brays Construction Update for South 75th Street Bridge

The South 75th Street bridge over Brays Bayou is scheduled to close to traffic and pedestrians beginning Monday, April 19th. The bridge closure is part of the construction project to demolish and replace the current bridge with a higher, longer and wider bridge.

This will increase the capacity of the channel, allowing for more water to flow under the bridge. The new bridge will include four 11-foot wide lanes and 10-foot sidewalks. The bridge closure and replacement is scheduled to last approximately one year.
