The Harris County Flood Control District will hold a virtual Community Engagement Meeting for the Baywood Stormwater Detention Basin project in the Armand Bayou watershed. The purpose of this meeting is to inform residents about the status of the project and share project information.
The Baywood Stormwater Detention Basin project is intended to reduce flooding risks in the Armand Bayou watershed by providing temporary storage for excess stormwater during heavy rain events. This project will receive funding from the 2018 Bond Program, which was approved by Harris County voters on August 25, 2018. Community engagement is an important component of the Bond Program, and we invite your participation as the program is implemented.
The Virtual Community Engagement Meeting will be held on:
Wednesday, February 23, 2022
6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
