Virtual Community Engagement Meeting for the Cloverleaf Area Drainage Improvements Project

The Harris County Flood Control District will hold a community engagement meeting for the Cloverleaf Area Drainage Improvements Project. The purpose of this meeting is to inform residents about the project’s status, share project information and gather important community input on this effort.

The Cloverleaf Area Drainage Improvements Project focuses on improvements to the local drainage systems and related infrastructure that convey stormwater from the Cloverleaf subdivision to Carpenters Bayou. This project is partly funded through the 2018 Bond Program, which was approved by Harris County voters on August 25, 2018. An additional $9.4 million in funding for construction comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation program (CDBG-MIT). CDBG-MIT funds are administered by the Texas General Land Office (GLO) and awarded to the Harris County Community Services Department. Community engagement is an important component of the CDBG-MIT program and the Bond Program, and we invite your participation as this project is implemented.
